Affiliate Disclosure
The plain-English version of how this site makes money — and why it never changes what we recommend.
The short version
Blind & Brush is free to read. We pay for it with affiliate links: when you click a product link on this site and buy something, we may earn a small commission from the retailer, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price whether you use our link or not.
Amazon Associates
Blind & Brush is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Most product links on this site go to Amazon and carry our Associates tag so the referral is credited to us.
Other affiliate programs
Some brands run their own affiliate programs through networks like CJ. Where we join one and it’s genuinely the better option for you, we may link to a brand’s own store instead of Amazon. We only ever build a tracked link for a program we have actually joined; if we mention a product from a program we haven’t joined, that link is a plain, non-earning link. When Amazon is the cheaper or better-stocked option for the buyer, we link Amazon even when a direct program would pay us more — buyer-first, every time.
How the money does NOT affect our picks
- We recommend the best option for you, not the one that pays most. If a cheaper product is the right call, that’s our pick.
- No pay-for-placement. No brand can buy a spot, a rank, or a kind word on this site. Nobody pays us to be included or ranked higher.
- We say when to skip.Every roundup names products to avoid, including ones we link. We’d rather lose a commission than send you to the wrong gear.
- Prices are live and dated.Numbers come from a daily retailer check and carry the date they were pulled. Prices change constantly, so always confirm the current price on the retailer’s page before you buy.
On every monetized page
Every page that carries a buy link also carries a short disclosure line above the first link, plus the #ad label on the buy buttons themselves. This page is the full version those short notes point to.
